Job Description Summary:

Reporting to the Director, America's Business Development for Prince Castle, a Marmon Foodservice Technologies Company, this position will facilitate the team's activities to maximize their performance and the solid and long-lasting development of the company. Responsibilities includes initiating contacts, developing relationships, and managing tradeshow and other sales-related events for the business unit.  Duties range from managing marketing collateral to being a significant contributor to the bi-annual worldwide conventions. The successful candidate will become the point of reference for colleagues and customers alike, by keeping schedules and providing feedback, documentation and information.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating the sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents and communicating relevant information
  • Assisting in the preparation and organizing of promotional material or events and ensuring the adequacy of sales-related equipment or material, in coordination with the Marketing department
  • Building relationships with the customers, providing excellent customer service and and after-sales support when requested
  • Monitor the team's progress, identify process improvements and provide recommendations
  • Ensure adherence to laws and Company policies
  • Provide regular account updates to the sales team
  • Working closely with the franchisee advisory board or equivalent, the operations and purchasing personnel, manage an effective trade show presence and implement marketing opportunities within each segment of the brand.
  • Identify, track, and forecast the impact of industry trends and key customer actions to senior management on a regular basis.
  • Assist in providing strong company representation at major industry and customer specific trade shows, conventions, and customer events.
  • Participate and contribute in regular meetings regarding key accounts including monthly global sales meetings, quarterly sales and Engineering Reviews, and 80/20 business development team meetings.
  • Perform other tasks and /or duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications and Competencies:

Minimum degree and required experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing/Sales Administration or Engineering or equivalent and 1+ years' related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Specific skills and competencies required:

  • Able to demonstrate a collaborative work style and ability to positively influence customer outcomes, possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), including excellent presentation skills with ability to deliver messages tailored to the audience.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic Graphic Editing (Adobe Photoshop/Paint Shop Pro, etc.).
