Job Description Summary:

Responsible for the support of the Managing Director and Marmon Foodservice EMEA Sales resources as the coordinator between the US and EMEA offices responding to customer needs, questions, complaints, and inquiries as to orders, delivery, service, warranties, product returns and replacement order and account credit requests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as the on-site representative for the EMEA team in the US office
  • Be the day-to-day liaison on behalf of the EMEA team and the US business units to address requests from the EMEA team in a timely manner so that delays due to time differences between offices are minimized.
  • Interact with all business units on EMEA customer needs, requests, requirements and respond as needed to the customer.
  • Interact with customer service, engineering, marketing, accounting, service and manufacturing team members to support the EMEA team and customer requests and needs as required.
  • Work with marketing and engineering to facilitate foreign language translations for EMEA products and customers related to product documentation, service information and marketing materials.
  • Coordinate meetings, travel and conference calls between the US and EMEA teams as required.
  • Monitor and assist to resolve customer delivery, payment, and ordering issues from the EMEA region.
  • Provide reports, as required, to support customer and sales requirements.

Qualifications and Competencies (Education and Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Business Management or Marketing/Sales Administration OR 4 years of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Foreign language skills (Spanish, French, Italian, German or other) preferred but not required.
  • Experience supporting and working with international offices, customers, teams.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. 
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency and related system administration software. 
  • Ability to work a schedule that begins at 6am to overlap with at least half of the EMEA Region work day.
  • Ability to travel to the EMEA region on occasion for meetings and support (1-2 times per year).
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from diverse populations.
  • Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Professional deportment, high energy level, and enthusiasm are necessary.
